HOTEL INFORMATION
The hotel's rooms are just a short elevator ride from the exhibit hall. On-site parking is $20 daily for Self Parking and $33 daily for valet parking. This does not include overnight parking. The Marriott has reduced their rates for the 50th California International Antiquarian Book Fair participants with a limited number of discounted rooms available, so please reserve early. The room rate is valid from February 6, 2017 through February 12, 2017. The reservation deadline is Friday January 6, 2017 and you should mention your affiliation with the California International Antiquarian Book Fair..

Rate: $169.00 per night for single or double occupancy. Room availability and rates are good until January 6, 2017 on a first come, first-served basis.

EXHIBIT HALL INFORMATION
The Oakland Convention Center is part of the Oakland Marriot City Center in the heart of downtown. Located just steps away from the 12th Street BART station and with multiple parking options, getting around is easier than at previous Northern California Book Fairs. There is a free "B" shuttle provided by Alameda County Transit (actransit.org) which runs from Jack London Square to Uptown on Broadway until 1am. The venue is only a 10-mile drive from the Oakland International Airport, or a short BART ride. Note: for more information on BART, the Bay Area's subway system, please visit bart.gov.

We have provided area maps for reference, here are a few things you can find in downtown Oakland:
